Season Highlights
- The season began on a high note with a thrilling 3–2 home win over New Hampton on Sept. 21. Fueled by strong team chemistry and sharp attacking play, this victory set an early tone of promise.
- After a few challenging games, the team bounced back in dramatic fashion on Oct. 26, avenging their earlier loss to New Hampton with a 4–3 road win, showcasing the squad's growth and refusal to back down.
Tough Competition & Growth Opportunities
- The team faced some of the region's strongest programs, including Northfield Mount Hermon and Phillips Andover, both delivering humbling experiences with 0–8 losses. While the scores were tough, the matches provided valuable learning moments for the young squad.
- Additional tough outings included losses to Holderness (0–3), Cardigan Mountain (0–3 home, 0–4 away), and Proctor Academy (0–5). Despite the scorelines, the players remained committed and cohesive, continuing to fight hard and develop their individual and team skills.
- A narrow 0–2 loss at Belmont Hill on Oct. 23 reflected the team's improving defensive structure and ability to hold their own in tighter games.
Looking Forward
While the scoreboard didn't always reflect their effort, the Boys JV B team laid the groundwork for future success. Players gained critical match experience, built camaraderie, and developed a strong work ethic that will carry forward into next season.
With returning players gaining confidence and younger athletes stepping into bigger roles, the foundation has been set for a more competitive and confident squad in 2025.
