The SPS Rec Racquets Program (Fall Term) meets four days a week and offers an engaging and comprehensive introduction to four dynamic racquet sports: squash, tennis, pickleball, and badminton. Designed for all skill levels, this program provides a fun and supportive environment for students to develop their skills, foster teamwork, and embrace the joy of sportsmanship.
Under the guidance of experienced coaches, participants will receive personalized instruction tailored to their individual abilities and goals. Through a series of drills, games, and match play sessions, students will learn fundamental techniques, strategic thinking, and effective communication on the court.
With a focus on building physical fitness, coordination, and mental agility, the Rec Racquets Program encourages a lifelong love for racquet sports. Whether it's mastering the power serve in tennis, perfecting the drop shot in squash, strategizing the perfect rally in pickleball, or executing a precise smash in badminton, students will develop a well-rounded skill set that extends beyond the program.
By fostering a supportive community and promoting healthy competition, the Rec Racquets Program not only cultivates athletic excellence but also instills valuable life skills such as resilience, perseverance, and respect for oneself and others.
