St. Paul's jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Shawn Oelheim induced Luke Newhall to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Theo Schneible singled, scoring two runs, and Harry Dermody grounded out, scoring two runs.

Daniel Sullivan singled, scoring one run, Newhall singled, scoring one run, Dermody drew a walk, scoring one run, Will Ekstrand was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Carter Corbett tripled, scoring three runs, and Anthony Hardy induced Gavin Code to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Landon Clark earned the win for St. Paul's. The left-handed pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking none.

Oelheim took the loss for Brewster. The starting pitcher went one and two-thirds innings, giving up 11 runs (six earned) on five hits, striking out two and walking five. Declan Schweizer, Quinn Brandell, and Harry Elworth each came on in relief for St. Paul's and shutdown Brewster.
