Sheehy Throws No-Hitter as St. Paul's Blanks Proctor Academy

Eoin Sheehy delivered a brilliant no-hitter on Friday, leading St. Paul's to a commanding 10-0 win over Proctor Academy.

Sheehy was untouchable on the mound, striking out nine and walking just three over five no-hit innings to earn the win. It was a complete, dominant performance, with the Big Red's defense backing him up flawlessly to secure the no-hitter.

St. Paul's gave Sheehy plenty of support at the plate, exploding for seven runs in the fourth inning. Sheehy helped his own cause with a two-run double to kickstart the rally. Blake Truchon followed with a three-run single, and a dropped third strike and Carter Corbett's RBI double capped off the huge inning.

The Big Red got on the board early when Theo Schneible doubled home a run in the first. Harry Dermody added an RBI walk in the third to extend the lead to 2-0.

In the fifth, Sheehy put an exclamation point on his day, launching a solo home run to right field.

Sheehy led the offense as well, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Corbett also collected two hits, while Anderson Brady showed great discipline at the plate, drawing four walks. St. Paul's drew 11 walks as a team and wreaked havoc on the bases, stealing eight bags — with Dermody and Brady each swiping two.

Jack Read took the loss for Proctor Academy, allowing one run over two innings.

St. Paul's will look to stay hot when they travel to face Tilton School on Saturday.
