The St. Paul's Girls Lacrosse team traveled to Holderness School for the Lakes Region finals and won the Lakes Region Championship by a score of 14-6 . After a two-and-a-half-hour weather delay the Big Red came out flying and ready to dominate from start to finish. The Big Red defense of
Ava Detweiler,
Alexandra Wang,
Isabel Hunter, and
Addison Pinard was stellar for the Big Red and led us to victory making key defense stops and coming up with the ground ball to transition to offense. Both goaltenders of
Elizabeth Johnson and
Arabella Perry were fantastic in the cage making key saves to get the ball back for us on multiple occasions.
Gretta White helped to lead the team to its fourth consecutive Lakes Regions with six goals.
Meg Bohan had three goals and
Alexandra Cabot had two goals.
Chandler Curtis,
Meg Bohan and
Alexandra Cabot were key in us winning the draw for much of the game. The Big Red will now travel to the Prep Cup at Dexter this weekend.
