Saturday, October 3, 2026 • St. Paul's School

In a special event put on by Milton at Curry College, the two Independent B League teams were treated to a Night Game on Curry's new Purple Turf complete with Food Trucks, music, and a pro level PA Announcer.  St. Paul's opened quickly but Trinity-Pawling rallied for a 28–27 overtime win in a tightly contested match up Saturday at St. Paul's.

The Big Red struck first on a 61-yard touchdown pass, then added a 20-yard touchdown run to build a 14–0 first-quarter lead. Trinity-Pawling answered with a 34-yard touchdown pass before halftime and tied the game at 14 with a 22-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter.

St. Paul's regained the lead in dramatic fashion early in the fourth quarter, breaking an 89-yard touchdown run to go ahead 20–14. Trinity-Pawling responded with a 38-yard touchdown pass later in the quarter to even the score and force overtime.

In the extra session, St. Paul's scored on a one-yard touchdown run and added the extra point for a 27–20 lead. Trinity-Pawling answered with a 25-yard touchdown run, then converted the two-point attempt to escape with the one-point victory.

The Big Red finished with 302 total yards, including 168 rushing yards at 5.8 yards per carry. St. Paul's also forced three Trinity-Pawling turnovers—two fumbles and an interception—and played a remarkably clean game with no penalties. Trinity-Pawling finished with 352 total yards, including 239 through the air.

A big thank you to Milton and Curry College for putting on such a great event for all involved.
