Jenna is a former professional ice hockey defenseman known for her consistency, defensive reliability, and strong academic record. A stay-at-home defender by trade, Rheault built a reputation for her hockey IQ, shot-blocking abilities, and clean, disciplined play across both collegiate and professional levels.

A 2015 graduate of St. Paul’s School, Rheault was a standout multi-sport athlete. She earned All-ISL honors in hockey, soccer, and softball, captained the girls’ soccer team, and helped lead the St. Paul’s hockey team to its first ever NEPSAC championship. She was awarded the ISL Award of Excellence, recognizing her as one of the top student-athletes in the league.

From 2015 to 2019, Rheault attended the University of New Hampshire, where she appeared in 142 NCAA games, recording 24 points and ranking among the team’s top shot-blockers every season. Along her career she earned accolades such as the Colleen Coyne Best Defensive Player Award as well as the Tina True Award for her dedication to strength and conditioning. Her achievements were also recognized academically when she was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Collegiate Athletic Honor Society, in 2018.

Rheault was selected 25th overall by the Boston Pride in the 2018 NWHL Draft, becoming the first player from her draft class to sign in the NWHL with a contract in May 2019. During her rookie professional season, she scored six points in 24 games, helping the Pride dominate the regular season and reach the Isobel Cup Finals before the championship was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rheault was invited to the USA National Development Camp every year from 2009 to 2012, highlighting her early recognition at the national level.

She consistently ranked among the top four shot-blockers on her teams at both the NCAA and professional levels. Known for her skating and discipline, she played a clean game with minimal penalty minutes.

Outside the rink, Rheault holds a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire. She currently works as a Certified Occupational Therapist at Hillsboro-Deering Elementary School in Hillsboro, New Hampshire. She comes from a hockey family—her brother, Jon Rheault, played professionally with the Nottingham Panthers in the EIHL, and her father, Jonathan Rheault, played for Colgate University in the late 1970s.
