SPS Coaching Highlights:
As assistant coach and offensive coordinator, Bernier helped SPS reach its first Lakes Region League Top 4 playoff in 2023 and return in 2024. Under his leadership, the offense has produced two all-time career scoring record holders, and numerous players have gone on to compete at schools including Albany, Colby, Hamilton, MIT, St. Lawrence, Trinity, UMass Lowell, and Union.
Coaching Experience:
With a track record of developing talent, Bernier has guided over 30 student-athletes to NCAA lacrosse careers. Before SPS, he led Hebron Academy to a New England Small School and MAISAD Championship in 2014. At St. Michael’s Catholic Academy in Texas, he took the team to the THSLL Division II State Semifinals and won the Central District Championship in 2010.
Bernier has also served as a recruiting coordinator at Gordon College, contributed to the New England Top 150 Lacrosse Camp, and revitalized the lacrosse program at West Nottingham Academy in Maryland through recruitment and community engagement.
