The St. Paul's girls varsity hockey team started their season with a decisive 4-0 victory over Brewster. The Big Red had an impressive 54 shots on goal for the game. Senior goalie
Brooklyn Godisak started for SPS and stopped all of Brewster's 18 shots. Senior Charlie Voges cored from passes by
Jade Hill and
Maisie Koo.
Morgan Barbossa ended the first period with a beautiful fast break goal. Maddy Allen and
Chelsea Bell had the assists. SPS kept rolling into the second period.
Tess Mulkerron scored to finish off the second period with another assist by
Maisie Koo. Maddy Humber had her first career goal on a SPS powerplay.
Maggie Berleth and
Maude Niemann had the assists. SPS has a bright future ahead, and they are gearing up for a tough game against Williston this Saturday.
