The Big Red snapped their two game losing streak with a 7-4 win over Dexter-Southfield. The first half was uncharacteristically low scoring for a lacrosse game.

Meg Bohan '25 scored early in the second quarter to put the Big Red up 2-1 at the half.
SPS and Dexter-Southfield both scored 2 goals in the third quarter.

Dexter-Southfeild scored 3 minutes into the fourth to tie the game at 4. Captain Sam Moyer '24 passed the ball to
Gretta White '25 in the middle of the eight-meter, who scored to give SPS the lead again.
Hadley Cepiel '24 scored an insurance goal on a free position with 5 minutes left in the game. The Big Red then demonstrated great patience and ran a stall to close out the game, notching a final goal as time expired.
Eliza Ekstrand '24 scored in the top corner off a pass from
Gretta White '25 to win 7-4.
Sally Brunelle '24 scooped up 4 groundballs and goalies EJ Johnson '25 and Bella Perry '25 had 7 saves each in another strong stand by the Big Red defense.
After a short weekend, SPS heads on the road to take on the Bulls at Holderness on Monday evening at 5:15.Â
