Senior Day at SPS! The class of 2024 defended their home turf for the last time in the regular season against Lake Region opponent, Tilton. The Big Red honored our seniors with a 16-1 victory, in which all 5 of our attack and midfield seniors scored a goal and our rock-solid low defenders protected their net and only gave up one goal.
Hadley Cepiel '24 started of the scoring with a fast break goal 13 seconds into the game coming off a pass from fellow senior Maddie Chang '24. Senior
Eliza Ekstrand answered 12 seconds later with another fast break goal off the draw. Three minutes later Eliza fed Maddie for her first of 2 goals on the day. Great White '25 and
Meg Bohan '25 each scored in the first quarter to put SPS up 5-0. Parker Hanson '25 scored another fast break goal 90 seconds into the second quarter,
Meg Bohan '25 sank a free position and Maddie Chang '24 scored her second goal off a pass from
Sarah Ernst '24. The offense then ran one of their plays and

Sarah Ernst '24, who scored her first goal of the season. Hadley wrapped up the first half scoring with a challenge across the top of the eight and a buzzer beater shot. SPS took a 10-1 lead into halftime.

Amelia Shair '25, Ali Cabot '25 grabbed a ricocheting rebound and scored, the offense forced a turnover on the ride and
Chandler Curtis '27 fed
Gretta White '25 on the ensuing fast break, and
Meg Bohan scored her third goal challenging down the middle. Meg scored one more goal - a behind the back rocket - in the fourth quarter. Our seniors put one final stamp on the day when
Eliza Ekstrand '24 fed Sam Moyer '24 for the final goal of the game, giving SPS a 16-1 victory at home.
