The Big Red traveled to New Hampton for a rematch of last year year's league championship game. Thirty-four seconds into the game, midfielder Meg Bohan '25 scored the first of SPS's 17 goals with a strong challenge from the top. Amelia Shair '25 scored next on a free position less than a minute later. Captain Sam Moyer '24 scored 2 on one-on-one challenges. Gretta White '25 also scored in the first quarter off a well-timed feed from Eliza Ekstrand '24 to put SPS up 5-2 at the end of the first quarter. Gretta notched 3 more goals in to start the second quarter and put the Big Red up 8-2. Low attacker Thayer Demers '26 then scored her first goal of the season on a feed from Ali Cabot '25 during a fast break transition. Ali Cabot '25 and Hadley Cepiel '24 rounded off the first half scoring with a goal each to give SPS an 11-3 lead going into halftime. 
 
Gretta White scored two more goals, her fifth and sixth of the day, at the start of the third quarter. Sam Moyer score her third and fourth goal and Meg Bohan notched her second to give SPS a commanding 16-4 lead heading into the final quarter. Thayer Demers scored her second goal of the game on a free position in the final minute of the game to round off the scoring at 17 goals. Gretta White '25 put up a strong performance with an impressive 6/6 for shooting and grabbing 7 interceptions on defense. A switch to zone defense in the first quarter helped the Big Red defense gain the traction they needed to hold New Hampton to only 5 goals and 8 total shots on net. The Big Red stay on the road and head to Brewster next Wednesday.
