On a sunny, but windy spring day, SPS took on Austin Prep at home. In a full team effort that saw goals from 9 different players, SPS won 15-3. Goalie EJ Johnson '25 "pitched a no-hitter" in the first half, giving up no goals, and earning the shutout. 7 different Big Red players scored 8 goals in the first half to take a commanding 8-0 lead into halftime. Sam Moyer ' 24 won the ball on a well-executed ride to start the scoring. Then

Chandler Curtis '27 scored her first goal of the season - a left-handed goal off a challenge - to kick off the second-half scoring.
Meg Bohan scored again off a fast break from the draw, just 10 seconds later. Towards the end of the third quarter,
Eliza Ekstrand '24 forced a turnover from the Austin Prep goalie. In the ensuing play, Sam Moyer received a free position shot and buried the ball in the back of the net. Just over three minutes later, coming out of a well-used timeout, Sam Moyer scored again - her fourth of the game and her season high - with 5.5 seconds left in the third quarter.
