SPS XC Launch 2024 Season at Groton

SPS GXC had a strong start to the 2024 season Saturday at Groton taking on Lawrence and Groton. St. Paul's had 26 runners compete in the race, and everyone finished! The GXC varsity team won handily over Groton 22-38. Aedyn Kourakos finished first overall and was followed closely by teammate Olivia Blanchard who finished in third overall. After a runner from Groton, the next 4 runners were from SPS: Ali Cabot, Mack Barrette, Bela Friedman and Brooks Boyd. Natalie Viprakasit rounded out the top 7 finished in the varsity race. The JV race was equally as successful. SPS came away with a 17-41 victory. Top finishes in the JV race were Marjorie Williams-Bello, Clara Tcherepnin, Hudson Fornes, Sophia Zhang, Maddie Morse, Lily Campbell and Reese Vanderwarker. The Girls also beat Lawrence sweeping the top 7 spots.

Up next the Big Red will compete at Holderness in the 1st of two Lakes Region League Races
