St. Paul's had a great showing in their showdown against Hotchkiss on Saturday, January 11^th. Chelsea Bell started the scoring for SPS in the first after ripping a shot from the point. Gabby Smith had the assist. Maude Niemann kept SPS rolling and scored a goal of her own later in the first from a beautiful cross-ice pass from Mae Glanzer. First year Maddy Humber tallied her own goal at the end of the first period from a pass by Maisie Koo. SPS was not done, and Cadence Crowley tallied her first and second goals as a member of SPSGVH. Liza Demain, Maggie Berleth, Maude Niemann, and Maddy Humber had the assists on Crowley's goals. Maude Niemann scored her second and third goals of the game from a passes by Maisie Koo and Maddy Humber. The game was a decisive victory and ended 8-1 for the Big Red.
