SPS won its first game of the new year at home on January 8
th. SPS faced off against Vermont Academy on the cold Wednesday evening. SPS came out hard, and they capitalized on their momentum early. Junior
Chelsea Bell scored her first career goal with assists from
Cadence Crowley and
Ava Hunter. SPS kept rolling, and
Tess Mulkerron scored a few minutes later.
Ava Hunter and
Cadence Crowley had the assists again. The first period ended with a late goal by senior
Caroline Humber.
Erin Flaherty had the assist. The game remained 3-0 until the third.
Tess Mulkerron scored again with an assist by Charlie Voge. SPS battled until the end, when
Ava Hunter scored a goal of her own from a beautiful pass by
Maisie Koo. The game ended 5-0 for SPS. They are gearing up for a big hockey weekend at home against Lawrenceville and Hotchkiss.
