Big Red defeated the Holderness Bulls on Wednesday, October 1 at home during the first fall-feeling afternoon of the year. Third Former Maisie Hayne led the team with two goals, with one in the second quarter and one in the third quarter, both assisted by a handful of other Underformers, including Grace Walker, Corbin Gray, and Mano Nagasaki. Grace Walker had an exceptionally strong game and helped SPS stay on the offensive during the majority of the third and fourth quarters. Additional goals were scored by Emma Burke, Emery Gay (an amazing drive off a corner), and Daisy Singer. The defensive unit remained strong with Charlotte Ward, Callie Fortin, Hana Jang, and goalie Brooke Paquette. Big Red takes on Proctor away on Friday, 10/3.
