In the final game of the Harrington Tournament the Big Red took on the Spartans of Lawrence Academy for the second time this season.
Maealie Glanzer scored the opening goal of the game with a quick release snapshot from the top of the right circle that beat the LA goaltender over her right shoulder.
Erin Flaherty would follow this with a short-handed goal with some good work and an assist to
Chelsea Bell.
Liza Demain finished a 2 on 1 chance after receiving a
Tess Mulkerron pass late in the second to put SPS up 3 -0 at the end of two.
The Big Red continued to press in the third with a pair of goals by
Cadence Crowley. The first with an assist to
Maggie Berleth and the second on a nice play on the wall by
Grace White to a streaking
Cadence Crowley in the neutral zone who played a nice give and go with
Chandler Curtis before going in on a breakaway to close the scoring at 5 – 0. The Big Red scored their five goals by putting 32 shots on net. The Spartans had moments of pressure putting 25 of their own shots on the SPS net.
Paige MacPhee continued her excellent work in net and posted her second shutout of the tournament. The

The Big Red ends the first portion of their season with a 7 – 2 record and head off on a well-deserved Holiday Break. They look forward to continuing their hard work and development when they return in January.
