The Big Red traveled to take on New Hampton for the Lakes Region finals and lost a heartbreaker in overtime to 3-2. The Big Red scored very early in the first period with the goal going to Madeline Allen and assisted by Ava Hunter  and Erin Flaherty. The Huskies would respond later in the first period. The Big Red scored late in the second period on a goal by Maggie Berleth and assisted by Ava Hunter and Erin Flaherty. The Huskies scored in the third period to force overtime. Paige MacPhee had a strong game in net giving the Big Red a chance to win. The Big Red fell early into overtime after a great effort by the entire team.
