The St. Paul's Girls Lacrosse team hosted Phillips Academy Exeter and had a very exciting 18-11 win. It was a full team effort to capture the victory and the Big Red of SPS played some of the best lacrosse of the season to date. The sidelines were filled with positive energy and cheering for the Big Red. Goaltenders
Elizabeth Johnson and
Arabella Perry made key saves for the Big Red to help secure the victory and were key in clearing the ball for the Big Red to head onto attack. The starting defensive unit of
Ava Detweiler,
Isabel Hunt,
Addison Pinard, and
Alexandra Wang were lights out on defense the entire evening helping to shut down Exeter and gain possession of the ball for the Big Red to go on offense. Parker Hanson helped the team win several draw controls and scored some key goals for the Big Red in the victory.
Meg Bohan,
Gretta White, and
Alexandra Cabot were essential in our midfield helping to slow down Exeter and win ground balls off the draw circle. Meg, Gretta, and Alexandra also all scored key goals for the Big Red and were fast all over the field.
Thayer Demers,
Amelia Shair,
Saylor Pachios, and
Reese Vanderwarker all helped the Big Red on offense by capitalizing chances to secure the victory. The Big Red is looking forward to its next game against Dexter Southfield on April 12, 2025.
