The Big Red traveled to Phillips Academy Andover and lost a close game by the score of 7-6. The Big Red had a lot of adversity to overcome in this game against a strong Andover team. The Big Red defense was on fire today stopping Andover from being able to generate a lot of offense and keeping them off the scoreboard for long stretches of the game. Ava Detweiler, Alexandra Wang, Isabel Hunt, and Addison Pinard were aggressive on defense during the entire game and gave us a chance to win the game. Goaltenders Arabella Perry and Elizabeth Johnson were lights out in the net making key saves and clears to our offense. Midfielders Gretta White, Meg Bohan and Parker Hanson hustled all over the field on both offense and defense and helped to create some big time plays on the draw circle. Attackers Alexandra Cabot, Thayer Demers, Saylor Pachios, and Amelia Shair hustled in the attacking zone to set up our offensive plays and helped to create chances for the Big Red. The Big Red looks forward to hosting Kimball Union Academy on April 18 in a Lakes Region matchup.
