The Big Red hosted Noble and Greenough School on a warm April day and lost by a score of 14-5. Nobles came out strong and controlled the draw control for most of the first half putting the Big Red on defense for long stretches. The Big Red played excellent defense led by
Arabella Perry and
Elizabeth Johnson making some timely huge saves for the Big Red.
Ava Detweiler,
Alexandra Wang,
Isabel Hunt, and
Addison Pinard all played great defense and helped keep the Big Red in the game. Midfielders
Gretta White,
Alexandra Cabot, and
Meg Bohan hustled all over the field and on the draw, generating momentum for the Big Red.
Erin Flaherty and
Chandler Curtis both worked hard and hustled to help the Big Red disrupt the Nobles draw circle. The Big Red fought the entire game and had some good offensive chances in the second half. Parker Hanson did a great job of running midfield and hustling on the draw.
Amelia Shair,
Thayer Demers, and
Saylor Pachios did a good job of helping to create momentum when the Big Red was in the attacking zone. The Big Red will rebound from this competitive game and looks forward to the next game against Austin Prep.
