Overall: It was a challenging day of racing in largely good conditions. There was a lot of traffic on the Charles River, aligning and starting was a bit difficult, and the competition was tight.  The first eight was able to get enough rhythm and traction in their rowing to generate fairly good base speed, while the second eight didn't quite find that connection or acceleration. This was a good opportunity to learn from, and we will carry the lessons from this racing forward into the coming races.
