SPS lost a hard-fought match against Northfield Mount Hermon with a final score of 4-5. Jenny Li '28 won her singles match 8-1 in a dominant performance. Alice Qi '28 dug out an 8-4 victory and Liza TenBroek '27 won her marathon singles match 8-4. At second doubles, Shenna Chen '27 and Antonia Pflaum '27 went game-for-game with their opponents until pulling ahead and the end and winning 8-5.  Playing at first singles, Cassia de Vink '27 lost in a tiebreak after battling back from a deficit. Alex Hatch '27 and Jennifer Yung-Coak '27 lost their singles matches but fought hard with some great plays. Selma Haft '27 and Abigail Zoltowski '28 played well in their doubles match against NMH's number one and two singles players, ultimately falling short but showing great mental toughness. Lastly, Laing Supple '27 and Alexandra Brodie '28 did a nice job battling it out at third doubles in their first match of the season.
