Lakes Region League Unveils New Logo, Ushering in a Bold Era of Identity and Unity
July 28, 2025 — Concord, NH
The Lakes Region League (LRL) has officially launched a new suite of logos that marks a major milestone in the league's growth and identity. The new visual branding was unveiled this week, offering a modern, cohesive look that celebrates the region's natural beauty and the competitive spirit of its member schools.
At the heart of the brand is a bold primary shield featuring a stylized mountain and lake scene — a nod to the iconic geography that unites the league's schools across New Hampshire and Vermont. The words "Lakes Region League" are emblazoned across the center, flanked by strong lines and dynamic shapes that convey movement and energy.
"The new logo represents everything the Lakes Region League stands for — tradition, competition, and connection," said Chris Smith, SPS Director of Athletics. "We wanted a visual identity that was instantly recognizable, flexible across platforms, and true to the values of our member schools."
In addition to the primary shield, the league has released alternate versions of the logo featuring the acronym "LRL," as well as a series of colorway variations inspired by the league's member institutions. These alternate marks will be used for sport-specific branding, championship events, digital media, and merchandise.
The rebrand comes at a time of increasing visibility and success for the league, which has seen record participation across sports and growing postseason recognition in recent years.
"This is more than just a logo," said Jenna Simon, Director of Athletics at Holderness. "It's a symbol of where we're headed together as a league — unified, forward-thinking, and proud of our identity."
The Lakes Region League includes top-tier preparatory schools known for excellence in academics, athletics, and character development. The new branding will be phased in throughout the 2025–26 school year, appearing on team uniforms, league championship materials, playing surfaces, signage, and digital platforms.
More information and digital downloads of the new logos are available via the league's official communication channels. Schools, athletes, and fans alike are encouraged to share the new look using the hashtag #LakesRegionLeague.
