In a nail biter, St. Paul's cross country edged out Loomis to win the NMH Invitational in both the JV and varsity race.
Aedyn Kourakos won the varsity race, improving her time from the previous year by approximately 10 seconds. Newcomer, and freshman, C.C. Goss continues to improve, placing second for SPS and 3
rd overall. Brooks Boyd turned out a great performance, improving from her time last year by almost 20 seconds and finishing in 3
rd for St. Pauls. Rounding out the top finishers for the varsity team were
Allison Min (in a season's best time),
Clara Tcherepnin, Minnow Brown and Mack Barrette. On the JV side,
Madison Min came across the line in an astounding 1 minute PR, finishing first for both SPS, and winning the JV race. Close behind her was M.J. Williams-Bello, who finished second for SPS and overall. Rounding out the top JV finishers were Rita Krenkel, Lu Rodriguez, Patalie Vipraskit, Maddie Morse, and Sophia Zhang. Next up, the girls will host Deerfield in a dual meet on October 4th.
