SPS jumped out early in this one scoring three times in the first period and then three more in the second before a hardworking KUA squad was able to get on the board after being awarded a penalty shot.  There were a couple of firsts in the game.  Maggie Berleth would score her first hat trick of her SPS career.  Well done, Maggie!  Malin Wilde would score her first goal her SPS career.  Solo tallies by Chelsea Bell, Tess Mulkerron and Kelsey MacPherson would close out the Big Red lamplighters.  Third former Julia Alesandro went the distance between pipes making fifteen saves many of them at critical junctures in the game.  Everyone one got involved to make this another solid W for the Big Red as the energy was impressive.  

The team is back on the ice tomorrow afternoon as Coach MacKey's alma mater, the Pomfret Griffins, head to Millville ahead of some potential snow.
