On a clear, crisp, and cool fall day, The Big Red defeated the Holderness Bulls 5-0. Early in the first quarter, The Big Red jumped out into the lead after Emerson Bentley fired the ball into the net from the top of the circle. Shortly after that, Bentley blocked a free hit from the opposing team, dribbled in, dodged, and scored another goal. After some back and forth play, The Big Red continued to dominate on the field. During the second quarter, Lily Chibnik scored twice. Staying on the attack, in the fourth quarter, Marina Kane helped secure the victory with a clean-up shot from around the stroke area. Led by Char Ward, The Big Red defense stymied Holderness, minimizing the Bulls penetration in the circle. Goalie Cynthia Tian skillfully blocked a few shots on goal. The team played well together and each player contributed to the continued winning streak of The Big Red.
