On day three of the Avon Old Farms Christmas Classic, the St. Paul's Skaters came up short to the Frederick Gunn School by a score of 3–0. The "Pelicans" gave up one goal in the first half and two goals in the closing eight minutes of the second half to make the comeback unattainable.
Treva Murphy '25 (Manchester, NH) stopped 26 of 29 Gunn shots for the "Big Red." St. Paul's School finished the Avon Old Farms Christmas Classic losing all four games and will head into the new year with a record of three wins and six losses.
The team will resume action on New Year's Day against the Milton Academy "Mustangs" at the Joshua Weeks New Year's Invitational, hosted by Tabor Academy.
