St. Paul's started another game on fire in Saturday's matchup against Austin Prep, climbing out to a 14-0 lead in the first few minutes and building that lead to 27-11 at its peak. Every Big Red starter made a 3-pointer in the opening half, and SPS went into halftime up 45-34. In the second half, SPS built the lead all the way to 58-36 with about 10 minutes to play—but then it was Austin Prep's turn to get hot, and they clawed all the way back—tying the game at 67-67. St. Paul's maintained its composure, however, and
Justin Huang scored a tough go-ahead layup with less than 1 minute to play, and SPS held on. In the win, Trey Miller had 23 points and 4 rebounds.
