St. Paul's traveled to Cambridge on Wednesday for a matchup with Buckingham, Browne, & Nichols. SPS built a quick lead in the early going thanks to three-pointers from
Liam Henaghen and Pat Ricca and a thunderous dunk from
Mekhi Simmons. The Big Red carried this lead into half, going into the break up 34-23. In the second period, St. Paul's built the lead to 46-34, but BB&N never stopped competing, consistently cutting into the lead until the score was 56-54 with 4 minutes to play. At this point, the maturity and toughness of St. Paul's shined, with
Quintin Eason taking over the game on the offensive end, and
Patrick Ricca and
Liam Henaghen providing staunch defense. SPS quickly built the lead back to double digits and closed the game. In the victory,
