St. Paul's closed December with a decisive team victory over Taft in the Class A Winter Showcase at St. Sebastian's. In the first half, the game was back and forth, but thanks to two dunks from Landon Clark, hot shooting from Patrick Ricca and Teigan Pelletier, and a buzzer-beating tip from Treyvon Miller, the Big Red went into the break up 32-27. From there, Justin Huang owned the second half, scoring 15 points in this period alone, allowing SPS to pull away down the stretch. Individual showings were impressive across the board. Landon Clark finished with 19 points and 4 rebounds. Justin Huang contributed 18 points. Teigan Pelletier had 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Patrick Ricca had 8 points and a team-high 6 assists, and Mehki Simmons added 8 points and 5 assists.
