The Big Red traveled to Holderness on Wednesday for our fifth game in eight days. Holderness got off to a really hot start in the matchup, building a lead in the first half. In the final seconds of the first period,
Patrick Ricca made clutch deflection, which fell into the lap of
Teigan Pelletier, who threw a full-court pass to
Justin Huang for a buzzer-beating layup. This brought the score to Holderness 34 – SPS 29 at the half and gave St. Paul's some momentum going into the break. In the second period, SPS took control quickly. Thanks to big shots from
Justin Huang, and an overall dominant performance from
Teigan Pelletier, SPS opened the half on a 25-11 run, building a lead as large as 9 points. Holderness never stopped battling—and never stopped making threes—and the game was tight through the end, though St. Paul's never relinquished the lead. In the victory,
