The Big Red came home with a 1-0 victory over the Wildcats of Kimball Union Academy. Aarav Mehta earned the clean sheet for St. Paul's with the help of strong play from the back line (Jehyeong Suh, Jeet Ghosh, Alex Gallien, Colin Campbell, and Noah Ivanov) in front of him. The lone goal of the game came on a beautifully struck ball by Francesc Rubiralta to give the Big Red all the offense they would need in the game. In the second half, Alex Gallien nearly doubled the lead with a missile from the top of the box that was headed for the top corner before the diving Kimball Union keeper swatted the ball out of play. The Wildcats attempted to throw the Big Red off their game with dirty play that led to three yellow cards, but St. Paul's stayed disciplined and played a clean game to bring the victory home.
