The Big Red opened the Class A Winter Classic with a resounding win over Salisbury. In the first half, St. Paul's built a double-digit lead and went into the half up 8 points. But, Salisbury stormed back in the second half, knocking down three consecutive three-pointers to knot the game at 48-48. But, SPS never allowed Salisbury to take a lead, finishing the game on a 19-9 run and earning the victory. St. Paul's was led by Trey Miller's 16 points and 9 rebounds in the win.
Mekhi Simmons filled the stat sheet with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists, and
Jake Reardon recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Liam Henaghen and
Tighe Arache also added 10 points each.
