St. Paul's traveled to New Hampton on Wednesday for a Lakes Region matchup with a New Hampton team that is ranked #2 nationally for prep school basketball. In the first half, SPS hung right with New Hampton, going into halftime down 9 points and with momentum. New Hampton took over in the second half, however, quickly stretching the lead to 20 before closing out the game on fire. St. Paul's was tenacious for the full 40-minute game.
Landon Clark finished with a team-high 22 points and 6 rebounds, while
Quintin Eason recorded another strong freshman performance with 9 points.
