The Big Red traveled to Kimball Union on Monday for a matchup with a KUA team that is primed for the Class AA playoffs. SPS came out confident and it was a back-and-forth game throughout. In the first half, St. Paul's largest lead was 4 points, and the Big Red went into the break up 32-30. In the second half, St. Paul's fell down by as many as 4 points but quickly fought back and took control with a 7 point lead in the final minutes, before KUA cut into it and began fouling. In the win, St. Paul's effort, teamwork, and defense were terrific. Individually,
Landon Clark finished with a monster 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Teigan Pelletier had 15 points and 5 rebounds,
Justin Huang had 9 points and 6 rebounds, and
Treyvon Miller added 8 points. Mekhi Simmon's defense was stellar throughout.
