The St. Paul's School boys varsity hockey team traveled to Belmont Hill School on Saturday, February 1
st, for a 3:45 PM puck drop on Keller Rink and skated away with an 0-8 loss to the "Sextants." The "Big Red" never really got their skates underneath them in this contest, as they fell behind quickly and could never get the puck past the outstanding Belmont Hill goaltender and defense.
The "Big Red" surrendered two goals in the first and third periods of play, as well as four in the second period. Three of the "Sextants'" goals came on the power play, an area of special teams play where the "Big Red" have been good of late: one in the first period and two in the second.
The St. Paul's School boys varsity hockey team will look to regroup over the Winter Term Long Weekend Break and return to action on Wednesday, November 5
th, at 2:30 PM in the Hockey Center on Gordon Rink.
