St. Paul's traveled to the HoopHall Prep Classic on MLK Day for a Class A matchup with Suffield Academy. The game was back and forth throughout the first half, with St. Paul's taking a three-point lead into the intermission. In the second half, St. Paul's built the lead all the way to nine points, but Suffield quickly battled back and the lead kept changing into the final seconds, where Suffield hit a deep three-pointer at the buzzer to win the game. In the loss, Big Red captains Trey Miller (16 points), Mekhi Simmons (13 points), and Patrick Ricca (12 points) led the scoring.
