St. Paul's hosted Holderness for a Lakes Region matchup on Wednesday afternoon. In the first half, the scoring went back and forth throughout, with Holderness ultimately taking a four-point lead into the intermission at 35-39. The Big Red tightened up their defense in the second half and cut the lead to one possession on many occasions, but Holderness made too many plays down the stretch and pulled away. In the loss, St. Paul's was led by Mekhi Simmons, who finished with 20 points. Patrick Ricca contributed 14 points, while Quintin Eason added 10, and Trey Miller added 9 points and 8 rebounds.
