St. Paul's traveled to Proctor Academy on Wednesday for a Lakes Region League matchup. Proctor jumped out to a quick 6-2 lead, but the Big Red did not take long to gain control of the game. In the first half, St. Paul's went on a 34-13 run, building a 17-point lead. But, in the last few minutes before the intermission, Proctor's disruptive full court pressure caught SPS off guard and Proctor went on a 13-2 run of their own to make the score 38-32 at the half. The second half was a different story, as St. Paul's dug in on the defensive end and executed consistently on the offensive side—building a double-digit lead within the first two minutes of the half and keeping it there for the rest of the game to close out the victory.
