At their first home meet of the season and in front of many visiting friends and family for Family Weekend, St. Paul's School boys cross country had a spectacular day of racing against Holderness School on Saturday, October 24th. Both captain
Owen Gorenc '27 and
Langston Williams '27 went well under the previous school record, with Williams putting his name in the record books as the new leader at 15:44. Nate Sans '10 set the previous mark of 16:13 in 2009. Nine other St. Paul's School runners set personal bests: Remi Costas '28, Charlie Harvey '29,
Sosuke Imaizumi '29,
Grant Lebar '27,
Nathaniel Mendoza '29, captain Harry Moyer '27,
Henry de Neufville '29, Theo Popper '29, and
Paul Sauter '28. Excellent racing that tested the team's building fitness led to a victory against Holderness.
The St. Paul's School harriers next travel with Deerfield Academy and Phillips Academy Andover to Phillips Exeter Academy for a quad meet on Saturday, October 31st.
