On another hot and humid day, the girls raced on a challenging Holderness course against Lakes Region Schools. Aedyn Kourakos was again the top finisher for SPS followed by captain Olivia Blanchard. Bela Friedman placed third for SPS with a strong race overall and a fantastic finish, chasing down her competitor in the final straightaway. As in the previous race, the next four finishes were the core SPS pack, comprised of Mack Barrette, Brooks Boyd, Ali Cabot, and Patalie Viprakasit. SPS finished second overall behind a strong Holderness team with a home course advantage but ahead of KUA, Proctor, Brewster, New Hampton, VA, and Tilton. SPS looks towards their next competition this weekend at the storied Manchester Invitational on an iconic New Hampshire cross country course.
