St. Paul's traveled to Thayer for the first varsity field hockey away game of the season. The SPS squad used a new formation and found great success moving the ball through the midfield. Co-captain Parker Hanson '25 and
Chelsea Bell '26 collaborated productively on the right to shut down Thayer's offensive pushes and convert their block tackles into possession plays.
Thayer Demers '26 and Addie Pinard '25, defenders on the left, showed their strength and anticipation by controlling the play on the left side. Midfielders Bella Perry '25, co-captain, and
Erin Flaherty '27 created several fantastic opportunities up-field and showed incredible grit recovering back to support the defensive play. As the game progressed, the middies and defense found their groove, sending repeated balls big and small up into scoring territory. Forwards
