Katie Kim '29 did a great job of marking out KUA's # 8 who hung up field, while Gabby Smith '28 and Kate Clary '30 took turns marking #11 who was a great midfield connector for the Wildcats.  SPS found the back of the net, in the second quarter; Erin Flaherty '27 carried the ball into the circle sending it up to winger, Gracen Arndt '27 who got the shot off. Charlotte Cohen '28 was there for the rebound to give SPS the lead at, 1-0.  A slower paced, crowded game for the first three quarters, SPS found their groove in the fourth by spreading out, connecting, and possessing the balls into the circle drawing multiple corner opportunities.  Halfway through the 4th quarter, Abby Hafer '27 had an amazing midfield interception, followed by a series of clean, crisp passes downfield drawing a corner.  Malin Wilde '29 sent a beautiful reverse sweep in to the circle. Flaherty received, passed to Kim, who took the shot. KUA's goalie made a beautiful save but Wilde was there for the rebound sending the ball into net ending the scoring, 2-0. A solid game overall with notable play from Liza Demain '28 and Abby Hafer who broke through the midfield repeatedly, causing multiple fast break opportunities.
