St. Paul's School Boys Cross Country won the Capital Area Race for the third consecutive year on Thursday, October 16. Returning from a few days away from formal practice did not hinder the Big Red harriers, who managed a tricky wedge box start and at times narrow first mile well to race well amidst fast competition from the Concord area. In a field of 81 competitors, St. Paul's put all 7 of its runners in the top 15.
Team scores: St. Paul's School 24, Concord 79, Hopkinton 94, Bow 101, Laconia 132, Merrimack Valley 165, John Stark 191, Belmont 214, Pembroke 242, Gilford 298, Kearsarge 307, Bishop Brady 322
