12/13 – Tabor 

SPS ends 2025 with win over Tabor

In the final match of the calendar year, the St. Paul's Girls Varsity Squash team secured a win against Tabor Academy with a score of 5 – 2. In this matchup, the Big Red depth was able to carry the day as we won all five matches from #3 on the ladder through #7. In the first round of matches, #4 Maisie Hayne, #6 Mia Bai, and #8 Katherine Hansen set the tone for the afternoon, jumping out to early leads and holding on to win their matches 3 – 0, and giving the Big Red an overall team lead of 2 – 1 after the even matches. In the second wave, #5 Melody Zhang and #7 Addie Hayne followed a similar script and were able to secure the overall team victory by winning their matches 3 – 0. #3 Emery Gay secured the additional point for the Big Red by winning a thrilling back-and-forth victory in the fifth game, 3 – 2. The girls will now head into winter break after starting the year 2 – 0 and will look to rest and recover before the season picks back up in January.
