SPS Big Red Triumph over Exeter. 

The SPS Girls Varsity Squash team got their first win of 2026 in an intense home matchup vs state rivals Exeter. In the first round of matches, the SPS team got two big wins from #2 Mary Chu and #4 Emery Gay. Both matches were back and forth throughout. Mary secured her win in the fifth game, and Emery secured her match in the fourth game. After the first round of matches, the team score was SPS 2, Exeter 1. In the second round of matches, #5 Melody Zhang and #1 Corbin Gray secured the two necessary points for the overall team win. Melody was pushed throughout her four games but brought home the third team point in the fourth game 11 – 9. Needing just one more point to win the match, Corbin was clinical and won a decisive 3 – 0 victory, securing the overall team win for St. Paul's. After an exciting tilt on Wednesday, the SPS Big Red will play host again on Saturday verses Milton Academy.
