Big Red Rolls Past Brewster with Balanced Attack and Faceoff Mastery
Concord, NH — St. Paul's School put together a commanding all-around performance on Saturday, defeating Brewster Academy 16–9 behind balanced scoring, sharp execution, and total control at the faceoff X.
The Big Red attack spread the wealth, with six different players finding the back of the net. Matias Williams (#24) led the charge, scoring 4 goals on 7 shots and setting the tone early. He was joined by a pair of hat-trick scorers—Michael Seward Jr. (#5), who converted all 3 of his shots, and Quinton Delorey (#19), who went 3-for-6 and added key assists in transition.
Carter Doherty (#9) turned in another strong two-way game, registering 4 assists and a goal, while Tommy Humphreys (#31) added 2 assists to keep the offense humming.
At the faceoff X, Bryan Folsom (#4) was the difference-maker, winning 22 of 28 draws (78.6%) and repeatedly giving St. Paul's possession advantages that fueled extended scoring runs. He also collected 11 ground balls—both a game high—and contributed an assist.
Defensively, the Big Red stayed composed and disciplined. Goalies Luka Clark (#11) and Ezra Williams (#1) split time in net, combining for 5 saves, while long poles AJ Zoltowski (#12), Jay Falk (#6), and Carson Daniell (#17) disrupted Brewster's rhythm with key ground balls and forced turnovers. Zoltowski led the unit with 6 ground balls and 2 takeaways.
As a team, St. Paul's fired 36 shots on goal and scored consistently across all four quarters (3–5–3–3), maintaining tempo and control throughout. With this balanced showing—marked by unselfish play, faceoff dominance, and steady defense—Big Red continues to build momentum deep into the season.
