SPS played Thayer at home on a beautiful, crisp fall day after watching a nail-biting JV game with SPS scoring at the buzzer. Our team was so excited to take the field coming out inspired and firing on all cylinders! In the first quarter Erin Faherty passed the ball to Liza Demain back to Flaherty for the perfect give 'n go scoring at the 13: 28 mark. The second quarter proved to be more balanced and was scoreless. After a five minutes halftime, both teams were eager to get back at it. At 5:58 in the 3^rd quarter, Addie Hayne passed the ball out to Flaherty to connect on a beautiful shot into the corner of the net that echoed off the boards for her second goal of the game, putting SPS up, 2-0. Two minute later, Flaherty passed to Demain at the stroke sweeping the ball into net to end the game, 3-0. In addition to the scoring above great play by Chelsea Bell, Maddie Humber, Thayer Demers, Abby Hafer, Malin Wilde, and Katie Kim.
